Motorsports - R&D partnerships

First-class product quality, experienced players as well as hard and disciplined work are the main factors that lead to success in motorsports.

Exactly these points connect STALOC very closely with this elite sport, where man and material have to achieve their utmost to win in the end.

Whether over 8,000 km through South America in the Dakar Rally, or in the chase through the "Green Hell" at the legendary 24h race at the Nürburgring - STALOC products make a major contribution to the success in these well-known events.

Especially in road racing STALOC works with top teams like Dempsey Proton Racing (Porsche), Phoenix Racing (Audi), Manthey Racing (Porsche), Schütz Motorsport (Porsche), Lechner Huber Racing (Porsche), MRS Racing (Porsche & Nissan), Schubert Motorsport (BMW) and Land Motorsport (Audi) when it comes to develpment, engineering and racing.

STALOC team driver Michael Ammermüller and Porsche works driver STALOC Pilot Richard Lietz are the very successful embassadors of our brand.

STALOC Manthey Racing

In 2012, STALOC started a cooperation with the well-known, Nürburgring-located Manthey Racing Team. Goal of the cooperation is to test and evaluate STALOC products in racing activities, in order to gain knowledge about the products under extreme loads and conditions.

STALOC team driver Michael Ammermüller on podium

STALOC team-driver Michael Ammermüller finished with a podium this weekend, during the first race of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup in Barcelona, Spain.

After having qualified in the 3rd place, Ammermüller faced some difficulties in the beginning of Sunday's race to find his rhythm. Further in the race, Ammermüller was able to control his opponents and secure the 3rd place, after his colleagues Sean Edwards and Nicki Thiim.

STALOC team driver Michael Ammermüller achieved a great 3rd place in the Porsche Supercup race in Monaco last weekend, finishing on the podium again.

It is extremely difficult to overtake on the city-track in Monaco. Therefore, every driver needs to find the right equilibrium between racing and careful driving, in order not to hit the boundaries of the narrow famous city-track.

Michael Ammermüller achieved his second podium this year for the Austrian STALOC-powered Lechner racing team, and currently ranks 3rd in the overal Porsche Supercup championship. Sean Edwards won for the second time this year. Kuba Giermazaik finished second.

Frank Stippler, Ferdinand and Johannes Stuck, both sons of the well-known racing champion Joachim "Striezel" Stuck, managed to achieve a great win in last weekend's race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in the VLN endurance racing championship, piloting their Audi R8 LMS of the STALOC-supported Phoenix Racing team.

The successful performance of the team was completed by the third place achieved by Oliver Haase and Harold Primat, piloting the second Audi R8 LMS of the STALOC supported Phoenix racing team.

Team manager Ernst Moser summarized: "We had a great speed with both our Audi R8 LMS ultra cars, and both team and driver have shown a remarkable performance. Nevertheless, we can't really celebrate our victory this weekend, keeping in mind that great friends and race drivers, Wolf Silvester and Allan Simonsen, both lost their lives in racing this weekend."

Third race, third podium. This is the bottom line after a great season start of Michael Ammermüller and the recent Porsche Supercup Race in Silverstone, UK. After 13 laps the gap between winner Nicki Thiim and STALOC team driver Michael Ammermüller was only six tenths of a second.

After half of the races in this year's Porsche Mobil1 Supercup STALOC team-driver Michael Ammermüller ranks 3rd in the overall championship. Climbing up the podium in 3 of 4 races this season, Ammermüller is still in close distance to winning the title. Ammermüller is 2 points behind first follower Nicky Thiim and 6 points behind current leader Sean Edwards.

It was his 3rd consecutive race on the podium. No other driver accumulated more points in the last three races. Congratulations and fingers crossed for the next races!

STALOC goes FIA Word Endurance Championship

Just before the last two races in the FIA Word Endurance Series (WEC) STALOC started a cooperation with the LMP2 Team G-Drive Racing. The focus is on the 2014 season in the WEC and of course the world famous 24h of Lemans, which is included in the championship.

STALOC G-Drive Racing

Right after the start of the cooperation, G-Drive Racing (supported by STALOC) celebrates a great victory. Drivers Rusinov, Conway and Martin achieved their 3rd win this season in the World Enduro Championship race in Shanghai, China.

STALOC team driver Michael Ammermüller

STALOC team driver Michael Ammermüller will be competing in this year's Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup for the Austrian racing team Lechner Racing.

Michael Ammermüller trained intensively during the off-season months and worked as a driver's coach in the Porsche GT3 Middle East Challenge. Now, he's well prepared to challenge for victories and the championship in both racing series. Having accomplished an overall 3rd place in the 2013 Porsche Supercup, he probably is one of the fastest drivers on Porsche in the upcoming season.
